As basic material using for manufacturing K1-K6, β -menadione(2-methy1-1, 4 Naphthaquinone) is liposoluble. Since β -menadione is fairly unstable, certain derivatives have been introduced in order to increase its stability, among which are: Menadione Sodium Bisulphate (MSB), the MSB-Complex, Menadione dimethyl Pyrimidiol Bisulphate (MPB) and finally the Menadione Nicotinamide Bisulphate (MNB).
